The Governors Private Camp is located in a private concession area adjacent to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya. Open throughout the year with the exception of April and May. High season months are August to October (Great Migration) and December to March.

Road transfer:

Exiting or going to Nairobi, it will take approximately 6 hours (depending upon road conditions) to get to the Masai Mara, Kenya. Most clients will be transferred from Governors' Camp, Little Governors' Camp or Governors' Il Moran Camp having stayed there for an evening or a couple of nights. Governors' Private Camp is a forty minute drive from the Governors' Camps in the Masai Mara, Kenya. There are scheduled flights from other airports in Kenya such as Nanyuki, Samburu, Lamu, Malindi, Mombasa and Ukunda (Diani).

There are charter flights from all airports and airstrips in Kenya to Musiara Airstrip. This is the coordinates for Musiara Airstrip:

There is a luggage restriction of 15 kilograms on all domestic flights. Extra luggage can be left at your base hotel in Nairobi. Bookings through your local ground handling agent or directly with Governors Camp in the Masai Mara, Kenya.
