Governors' Il Moran is located on the Mara River in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya. The camp is open throughout the year. The high season months are August to October Great Migration, passing through the Masai Mara Game Reserve) and December to March.
Air Kenya has scheduled flights twice daily from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Musiara Airstrip (taking approximately 45 minutes). There is a meet and greet and transfer with a Land Rover to the camp, in the Masai Mara Game Reserve (duration approximately 15 minutes).
There is a return flight from Musiara Airstrip to Nairobi twice daily. There are scheduled flights from other airports in Kenya such as Nanyuki, Lamu, Samburu, Malindi, Mombasa and Ukunda (Diani) to get you to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as well.
There are charter flights from all airports and airstrips in Kenya to Musiara Airstrip, to make your travel to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as easy as possible. This is the Musiara airstrip coordinates:

Exiting or going to Nairobi, Kenya is a 6 hour drive on average (depending on road conditions).
Please note:
There is a luggage restriction of 15 kilograms on all domestic flights to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Extra luggage can be left at your base hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. Bookings can be done through your local ground handling agent or directly with Governors’ Camp.
