The Ilkeliani is situated in Masai Mara game Reserve in the beautiful African country of Kenya, with excellent climatic conditions, panoramic plains and tropical rain forests that guests will enjoy.

How to get there:
Enter the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya through the Sekenani gate. The gate is usually used to go to Mara Sarova, Mara Serena, Keekorak and Fig Tree Camp. About 6 kilometres from Sekenani gate you will see a turnoff to the right. There will be boards for the Fig Tree Camp and Mara Intrepids. Take this turnoff to the right towards Fig Tree Camp arriving at Talek Gate.
A member of staff from Ilkeliani, Masai Mara, Kenya will be waiting at the gate to bring you to the camp. Come out at Talek gate and drive for about one kilometre to Talek Village. At the village turn right and travel for about 3 kilometres passing the Talek Primary School. The primary school will be on your left. River Talek should be on your left at all times and its course will be marked by clusters of big fig trees and other trees. As a small private camp, there are no signs at Masai Mara.

At the end of October- November Kenya experiences a short rainy season with light showers during the day and night. The long rainy season happens from April-mid May when the country experiences heavy showers during the day and night.
