The Royal Mara Safari Lodge is situated in one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, and home to the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration - the Masai Mara, Kenya.
Here wildlife roams freely with no boundaries, fences or walls restricting the mass movement of animals. The Royal Mara is situated on the Mara River, the ideal spot to witness the comings and goings of Africa's most famous wildlife, including the Big Five.
How to get there:
By Air:
Flights to the Masai Mara, Kenya are available daily from Wilson Airport in Nairobi, flying to the private airstrip of the Royal Mara. This is followed by a 15 minute drive to the camp. Complimentary round trip airfare transportation from the airstrip to the camp is offered to all game package guests.
By Road:
The Royal Mara is also accessible by road from Nairobi via Narok town. This is a 5 hour overland journey over the B3 tarmac highway and the C13 unpaved road. This is a scenic drive, but also bumpy on the C13 road. The air flight connection is therefore recommended.
