Day 1: Tortilis Camp

You are fetched from Nairobi Hotel/Airport for your transfer to the famous Amboseli National Park, the 'Home of the Elephant'. Your Kenya vacation takes you through the Masai land and past the Kenya/Tanzania border of Namanga. You arrive in time for lunch at Tortilis Camp. You will also enjoy your first afternoon game drive in the park to view Kenya's largest Elephant herds, Buffalo and plains game.

Accommodation:

Guests are accommodated at Tortilis Camp in spacious tents. Each tent at this Kenya lodge is raised up on a wooden deck. The main feature of this camp is the breathtaking view of the Amboseli plains and the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. This camp is renowned for its rustic simplicity, unobtrusive design and attention to comfort without compromising the ecosystem.

The Amboseli National Park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, therefore big game sightings around the lodge are quite common. Animals known to roam this area include Lion, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, baboon, Gazelle and Wildebeest, and more wild Elephant can be seen here than anywhere else on the continent.

Day 2: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

Wake up early to view the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro; the best time to catch an awe inspiring glimpse of the snow capped extinct volcano and the highest mountain in Africa. Enjoy this breathtaking setting during your game drive, followed by breakfast at the lodge. The rest of the morning is yours to relax and explore. After lunch you enjoy another exciting game drive to views Kenya's largest Elephant herds, Buffalo and plains game.

Accommodation:

At Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge guests are accommodated in rooms that boast magnificent views of the African vistas and plains and feature traditional beadwork, gourds, hand painted murals. Guests will get an opportunity to view a diverse range of wildlife including Lion, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Hyena, Elephant and Hippo on your Kenya safari.

Day 3: Serena Mountain Lodge

You depart after an early breakfast for Nairobi. On arrival you enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. You then continue on your journey towards the Mount Kenya region, passing the coffee plantations.

Accommodation:

Guests will be accommodated at Serena Mountain Lodge, which is situated 7 200 feet on the slopes of Mount Kenya. A 2-and-a-half hour drive from Nairobi, this lodge is ideally located and boasts private showers, toilets and spacious verandahs, ideal for game viewing.

The Mountain Lodge is often regarded as having the most consistent record of animal sightings in the area. Game sightings at this lodge include Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Waterbuck.

Day 4: Flamingo Hills Camp

You depart on the fourth day of your Kenya vacation after breakfast. Drive through the scenic countryside with a short stop at Thomson's Falls. You arrive in time for a late lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp. Your first afternoon game drive promises possible sightings of Black and White Rhino, Defassa Waterbuck and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

Accommodation:

Flamingo Hills Camp is situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, close to the main gate. Accommodation is in a tent boasting a 4 poster bed, mosquito net, en suite shower, WC and flush toilet and hot and cold running water.

The 'PINK' restaurant serves delicious buffet breakfasts and lunch and dinner is a mix of table d'hote and buffet style. The camp boutique offers a selection of toiletries and authentic, hand made items from different communities around the country.

Days 5 - 7: Keekorok Lodge

You enjoy a short morning game drive followed by a delicious breakfast. After breakfast you depart to the world famous and diverse Mara Game Reserve driving via the Maasai Town of Norak. You arrive in time for a late lunch before departing on an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Accommodation:

Guests will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in tastefully furnished bungalows at Keekorok Lodge on a full board basis.

Enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara, discovering the area with unlimited game drives according to your convenience. The reserve is home to a diverse range of wildlife, so expect to see Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and various game.

Day 8: Depart

You participate in your last early morning game drive at sunrise followed by breakfast at the lodge. You then bid farewell to the African bush as you depart for Nairobi. A short stopover en route at a viewpoint affords a breathtaking view of the Great Rift Valley. You arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon for your drop off at your Nairobi Hotel/Airport.
